Little Town Players

Bedford’s Little Town Players has been Bedford’s live community theatre since 1976. This talented and versatile band of actors, stagehands and directors has presented such musical classics as “Fiddler on the Roof” and “The Sound of Music” to such mystery dramas as “Dial M for Murder” and “Appointment with Death.” In addition to theatre productions, the group has received high acclaim for its community service. In 1982, Little Town Players was awarded the President's Volunteer Action Award, presented in Washington, D.C., by then-President Ronald Reagan. It was one of only 20 recipients of the award, chosen from a nationwide field of more than 2,000 nominees. Little Town Players serves more than 100 children every year with a variety of summer camps and awards a $1,000 scholarship each year to local graduating senior.
