Voices of excellence!

The Jefferson Choral Society is an 80-voice regional chorus that performs master works from all periods, offering four concerts a year in Central Virginia, including a benefit concert for the National D-Day Memorial in May. The group began its 20th year of performing in 2009 and is one of the most widely traveled choral groups in the state. It has toured Europe five times and performed at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.; Carnegie Hall, N.Y.C.; and Bruton Parish Church, Williamsburg, Va. Also featured is the Jefferson Youth Chorale, which is made up of volunteer singers from the Lynchburg area, aged 9 to 18.  The youth perform in at least one major concert per year.
